BOOKMARK: STICK-PEOPLE
This is a super-quick bookmark to make. It is made from the wooden “stick-people” doll available in craft stores. (Or you can make your own figure from cardboard, using the pattern below which is labelled “Figure for Tell-a-Story Joseph”.)
1. Paint the figure according to the photograph; paint the top of the head white as shown in the photo.
2. Print out the white habit. Glue to the back of the head. Glue a strip of blue paper or ribbon around the forehead as in the photograph.
3. The arms extend over the pages of the book, forming the bookmark.
4. NOTE: It is necessary to use the boy doll as his arms are longer than the girl’s if you are purchasing the wooden dolls.
