TO MAKE OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE FOLLOW THE BASIC INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:
Her head is a peanut and her dress is made from a paper-shaped cone. Her shrine is made from a tuna can!
HOW TO MAKE OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE:
1. Paint a peanut or leave it unpainted. Add facial features. Glue on yarn hair.
2. Print out the cone-shaped pattern for the robe. Colour and cut out.
3. Glue the front of the peanut “head’ to the inside middle point of the cone. The peanut should protrude above the level of the cone shape as shown in the photo.
4. Form the robe into a cone shape and staple the end of the robe together at the bottom.
TO MAKE THE VEIL:
1. Cut out a strip of felt 9″(22cm) x .75″(2cm).
2. Mark (lightly) the middle point of the strip. Glue to the head as shown in the photo.
TO MAKE THE HALO:
1. Print, colour, and cut out the halo shape. Toothpicks form the rays.
2. Glue to the back of the figure.
