MOSES STORY JAR

  1. A large plastic, peanut butter jar is ideal for this purpose.
  2. Fill it with toys or small objects to depict the story of Moses.
  3. Copy the pattern of Moses on to cardstock, cut out and colour. Glue to the jar.
  4. For durability, you might want to laminate the picture of Moses.
  5. You can paint the lid of the jar if you wish and add a decorative ribbon.
  6. Children pick out pertinent objects from the jar and re-tell stories about Moses.
  7. You can print out a picture of Moses to colour or make a collage from coloured papers. You can add googly eyes.
  8. For the collage, overlap the pieces according to the photograph: first, the head is glued behind the beard, then both are glued to the robe. The hands are glued behind the sleeves.

You can colour a picture from the pattern provided or make a collage of Moses:

NOTE: You use the same pattern to make this Noah as you do to make the Noah stick Puppet.
