QUEEN ESTHER PEANUT CONE FIGURE

A very fun and quick-to-make figure of Queen Esther: Her face is a peanut! Her robe is a semi-circle which is formed into a cone shape.

  1. Paint a peanut skin colour (or leave the peanut in its own natural colour). In the case of peanut allergies, you can substitute a wooden spoon. The peanut forms the head of the figure. Add facial features  and yarn hair.
  2. Copy the pattern for the robe, cut out and trace onto construction or scrapbook paper.
  3. Form it into a cone shape and glue to the neck of the peanut “head” with the seam at the back. Glue the back edges of the robe together.
  4. Cut the stole from a strip of felt 7” (17.5 cm) x 1” (2.5 cm). Glue to the top of the head.
  5. Make the crown from yellow paper. Add sparkly trims and glue to the head.
