JOSEPH AND HIS NEW COAT: Stencil pattern

Have fun with a stack of old magazines and create a new coat for Joseph! A stencil placed over the pictures provides a wonderful new coat for Joseph. Place the stencil over the second page (which is covered with glued-on magazine cutouts), glue in place and... Voila!...

SCALING A WALL: PSALM 18:29

The girl's face is made from a plastic spoon and her bright red toque is from the fingertip of a glove. The grassy knoll is a section of a pool noodle which is painted green. The pool noodle serves as a great stand for the wall. The wall is made from popsicle sticks....

O HOLY NIGHT: CRECHE

  The crib is made from an egg carton cup which is adorned with yellow paper strips. Jesus is made from a peanut or a small stone (which is glued to a wad of cotton batting). The infant is wrapped in white felt or fleece.

JOSEPH: Spoon Doll Puppet

  Make a JOSEPH PUPPET from a plastic spoon! Joseph's robe is glued on to the spoon. Note the vertical pleat down the centre! This gives the robe a smart, tailored look and is so easy to do! TO MAKE THE SPOON PUPPET: Paint the head of the spoon in a skin colour....

JOSEPH IN EGYPT

  Use a "wooden-people" doll, widely and inexpensively available in craft stores, or make your own from cardboard from the pattern below. The robe and head-piece are glued on.  Or: You can make several outfits and use Velcro dots to "glue" them on to the figure....

PHARAOH AS A YOUNG BOY
